VK Cricket Academy was founded in 2018, on the stepping stones of passion, integrity and sincerity as well as with a vision to promote and create a sustainable youth cricket program in bay area.
Our Development Program, which is our primary step, has kids from ages 7 through 15. They are our building blocks to a sustainable cricket program in the bay area and we help in providing basic and advanced coaching programs to the kids. Our Pipeline Program, the second step, will channel the learned kids to the amateur and professional leagues, conducted by Us as well as Other Leagues in Bay Area, California and, throughout the Country, providing not only a platform for the kids but also engage them in a thorough process of improvement and exposure to cricket in different ways. Our Professional/Advanced Cricket Program, the elite step, includes professional cricket coaching for different age groups including, Youth (U15 through U-19), Men(U-19 and above), and Women(U-19 and above) in the bay area, while also collaborating with institutions around the world.
As part of the ongoing development program of the academy, we conduct amateur leagues including Rookie League for beginners, an all exclusive School Cricket Tournament -which includes developing a School team and conducting a School-level cricket tournament while also providing requisite coaching/training.
School cricket program, will constitute training the boys & girls for basic skills and physical fitness required to embrace the cricket skills to be learned further. Cricket will be taught to kids at a different level than that of the regular group. The students will be monitored and coached by VK Cricket Academy Coaches. These kids will never compete with our regular groups until they learn the requisite skills, for both safety as well as skill-based reason.
School cricket program will also be mentored by Visiting Coaches from national and/or international stage on a regular basis, where the international youth team coaches will share their experience, the training process and bless the kids with their valuable game-time knowledge.
Girls-only cricket program, will constitute beginner’s training for basic skills and physical fitness required to embrace the cricket skills to be learned further. Cricket will be taught to girls at a different level than that of the boys. The girls from Jr. Group will compete with boys form Jr. level as part of their training. Girls in Sr. Groups will compete with both Jr. Level and Sr. Level Boys.
Girls-only cricket program will also be mentored by International Women’s Cricketers on a regular basis, where the Women Cricketers will share their experience of learning the game, the training process and bless the kids with their valuable game-time knowledge.
We believe Girls have a great future in cricket, unlike most other famous team sports and we support as well as train Girls, equally with our boys. We conduct both school-based/youth-level tournaments for girls in the future and identify the best talent around.
Trained with/under Gray Kristen himself, our coaching team is certainly credible to coach/train both men and women along with the youth. We are accepting admissions for men’s and women’s coaching along with U-17, U-19 groups. Our advanced/professional coaching program is focused primarily on the player’s interests and will constitute training men & women for skills, physical fitness, mental coaching required to pursue cricket as a professional sport. Additionally, as part of this program we will have foreign tours program, collaborated with academies/institutions in India, Australia, South Africa and the West Indies.
Professional/Advanced cricket program will also be mentored by Visiting Coaches from national and/or international stages on a regular basis, where the esteemed international coaches will share their experience, the training process and more importantly their valuable game-time knowledge. The player(s) will be allowed to participate in any/all leagues conducted by Us or Others as part our intense & passion driven coaching/training program.
